Boom Mower for Wheel Loader Overview

The boom mower attachment easily connects to the Hydratach power unit, creating a fully self-contained mowing system independent of the loader carrier.

Having a dedicated power unit allows the mower to operate consistently at the ideal speed, regardless of the loader engine RPM. This gives the operator significantly more control than mowers that utilize the loader hydraulic system. Operators can safely maneuver the loader and attachment at comfortable speeds while the power unit delivers consistent performance to the cutter head and boom.

Every model reaches the same envelope, 27 feet out, 7 in, 20 up, and 14 down, so you can work ditches and embankments below grade or take limbs overhead without repositioning the loader.

Features

Universal Skid Steer Mount on Boom

  • Attachments can be connected or changed from the boom in minutes using the standard Skid Steer coupler. Attachments connect hydraulically with standard flat face couplers. No wrenches!
  • Any of the Hydratach skid steer attachments are available to use as boom head options. In addition, these attachments, and more, can be used with existing high-flow skid steers, allowing for better asset utilization. You no longer need to have duplicate attachments for the same tasks.
  • The universal skid steer coupler at the end of the boom features a three-axis rotator. The attachment can be easily maneuvered by the operator right from the cab.
    • Side to side or deck curl
    • Front-to-back or coupler curl
    • Horizontal rotation about a vertical axis or coupler swing

Roadside Maintenance

  • Easily clear along ditches, fencelines, or embankments.
  • Reach over obstacles such as side rails, curbs, and fences.
  • Blow snow away from otherwise inaccessible locations.

Tree & Brush Trimming

  • Excellent option for clearing roadside brush, trees, and overhanging branches.
  • Cuts up to 4″ material continuously and 8″ intermittently with standard 62″ rotary head

Dewatering/Sewage

  • Boom-mounted submersible pump for flood control, plugged culvert maintenance, and manhole access pumping.
