Rotary Brush Cutter Overview
The 72″ rotary brush cutter is built for production. Ten inches wider than the 62″ head, it clears more ground on every pass, making it a great choice for covering long roadside runs, large right-of-way, or open acreage in fewer passes. It delivers the same aggressive rotary cutting driven by a direct-drive radial piston motor, positioned for crews whose priority is throughput and coverage rather than tight maneuvering.

A direct-drive radial piston motor delivers high torque and fast speed recovery, powering through heavy material without bogging down. A large, visible pressure gauge lets the operator monitor motor load in real time.
Heavy Carrier and Blades
A 1″ thick AR400 blade carrier carries three reversible, double-sided 5/8″ x 6″ blades. Built to take punishment and flip for extended life.
Open or Closed Front
The latch-style front door opens to ingest trees and brush, or closes for better containment and mulching. A single head for both aggressive clearing and cleaner finish work.
Replaceable Skid Shoes
Replaceable hardened skid shoes run the full length of the mower and extend up the side of the deck, protecting both the ground wear surface and the deck side that takes the abuse of flying debris, adding years to the life of the deck.
Universal Skid Steer Mount on Boom
Connects or changes from the boom in minutes using the standard skid steer coupler and flat-face hydraulic couplers, with no wrenches. The coupler’s three-axis rotator lets the operator work the head from the cab: side-to-side deck curl, front-to-back coupler curl, and horizontal coupler swing. Any Hydratach skid steer attachment can run as a boom head, and these heads also run on existing high-flow skid steers for better asset utilization.
